About Me
Maria Eastman

With over 40 years of experience working with horses and their people, I bring a thoughtful, hands-on approach to equine care. I'm a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner (MMCP) with additional training in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Kinesiology Taping, and performance-based assessment of the ridden horse.

I specialize in identifying subtle signs of discomfort that may impact behavior, movement, and overall well-being. My work is centered on helping horses feel and perform at their best through individualized, compassionate care.

Core Services

Masterson Method Session

Starting at $100

Hands-on bodywork designed to release tension and improve comfort and performance. The Masterson Method works with your horse’s nervous system to identify and release areas of restriction, helping your horse relax, move more freely, and perform at their best.

Equine Kinesiology Taping

Starting at $20

Maria is trained in equine kinesiology taping, a non-invasive, rehabilitative, and therapeutic modality that uses specialized elastic tape applied to a horse's skin to
support muscles, joints, and fascia without limiting mobility. It works by lifting the skin to increase blood circulation, reduce pain, alleviate inflammation, and facilitate the body's natural healing process.

24-Behaviors of the Ridden Horse

Starting at $75

Maria is trained in completing the The Ridden Horse Pain Ethogram (RHpE), a tool to reliably assess behaviors in the ridden horse that may indicate pain and reliably predict lameness before the condition worsens into limping and other more obvious signs of injuries. This method was developed through a six-phase study, spanning three years, and over 400 horses by Dr. Sue Dyson and colleagues. Results from this assessment are used to identify problems that may then be treated through orthopedic care.
